Lochlea Sowing Edition Second Crop Single Malt Scotch Whisky
Sowing Edition Second Crop from Lochlea is a small batch release showcases the signature Lochlea style in four different ways each year. As a working farm, these expressions tie-in to reflect the farming calendar. In this release they have used fresh 1st fill fill ex bourbon barrels from higher up in the warehouse than the Sowing Edition First Crop from 2022. Signature aromas of sweet red apple and pears. The palate is host to vanilla pods and almond oil that lead to a medium finish, with a crisp and refreshing pine forest note.
