Larry Cherubino Laissez Faire 'Foudre' Pinot Noir is an elegant expression from Pemberton, Western Australia, crafted from the Channybearup vineyards with northern aspect and sandy loam soils. With aromas of beetroot and earth, black cherry, red flowers, and oak-delivered spices, this wine showcases fine soft tannins and fine acidity, finishing with flavours of black cherry and earthy beetroot. Crafted by acclaimed winemaker Larry Cherubino, this wine benefits from the excellent 2023 vintage in Pemberton, which experienced similar conditions to Margaret River with excellent winter rains followed by extended periods of cool and dry weather, allowing grapes to ripen steadily with excellent balance and depth. Hand-picked fruit, moderate extraction to express vineyard character, and six months in one-year-old oak create exceptional quality at outstanding value. Vineyard & Production Sourced from the Channybearup vineyards in Pemberton, Western Australia, with northern aspect and sandy loam soils. The 2023 vintage experienced excellent winter rains followed by extended periods of cool and dry weather, allowing grapes to ripen steadily with excellent balance and depth. Fruit was hand-picked and sorted, fermented in small lot fermenters with moderate extraction to ensure vineyard characters were fully expressed. The wine was matured in one-year-old oak for six months. Tasting Notes Aromas of beetroot and earth with black cherry, red flowers, and oak-delivered spices.
