Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2013 is a unique Islay single malt that champions heritage. Distilled using 100% bere barley, an ancient grain cultivated by Orkney College's Agronomy Institute, this whisky boasts a distinct flavour profile. Matured for ten years in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks and Pauillac wine casks, it offers an aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, and malty sweetness. The taste is rich with cereal notes, complemented by hints of green fruit and spiced gingerbread. This single malt is bottled at 50% ABV with no added colouring or chill filtration, ensuring a truly authentic experience.
Ledaig 18 Year Old
This 18 year old is from the Tobermory distillery, Ledaig is their peated malt whisky. This 18 years old has been matured in a selected oak casks with a finishing period in sherry cask. It has a nose of rich sherried fruit, smokiness, light creosote, pepper and spice with sweet oak notes. The palate is rich and powerful with smoke, citrus, coffee tobacco and a touch of salt. Long finish in the mouth with pungent smoke and star anise.
