The tenth edition of this limited edition series, Black Art Edition 10 encapsulates the enigmatic alchemy of whisky making; with a reliance on nature, craftsmanship and the passing of time. The barley and cask type remain a mystery, with the final recipe undisclosed. Depth, complexity and balance. The confidence and intuition used to guide this spirit handed from one generation of distillers to the next. The choices made through years of maturation with casks of unrivaled provenance uniquely shape each expression and this does not let that theme down. Aromas are inviting, fragrant toasted oak, chocolate praline, cedar and leather. The palate is host to barley sugar, ginger nut and lemon meringue pie that give way to toasted oak, vanilla and raisins.
Dalmore Vintage Collection 2003 Single Malt Whisky 2022 Release
Carefully crafted, finely balanced, and bringing together the very finest casks from one year, each limited release single malt will then take its rightful place in The Vintage Collection. Matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and enhanced by hand-selected Rivesaltes Sweet Wine, Matusalem, Amoroso and small batch bourbon casks. Aromas of manuka honey, dark toffee and aged vanilla pods. The palate is warm honey, maple syrup and spiced dark fruits. The finish is antique honey, old English marmalade and sweet spice.
