Cadenhead’s Old Raj Gin 55% is a premium-strength Scottish gin celebrated for its bold juniper character, refined botanical balance and distinctive pale-gold hue. Produced in Campbeltown by Scotland’s oldest independent bottler, it stands out for the addition of real saffron after distillation, a rare and luxurious touch that subtly enhances both aroma and colour. The result is a classic yet elevated dry gin with exceptional clarity, intensity and depth. On the nose, Old Raj 55% opens with bright, clean juniper supported by gentle citrus from Seville orange peel and a whisper of floral spice from the saffron. The palate is powerful and precise, driven by juniper and layered with warm spice notes from cinnamon, cassia and nutmeg. Liquorice and orris root add a soft sweetness that rounds the edges without diminishing the gin’s dry, structured profile. Rosemullion Summer Cornish Gin
Rosemullion Summer Gin is a fresh gin with a citrus kick infused with Cornish elements to provide a warm gin, perfect for the summer evenings. They are one of the very few that are distilling their own alcohol where others may flavour or alter industrial alcohol for their product, a true Cornish made product. The gins made by Rosemullion Distillery are crafted in copper stills and based on traditional recipes some are subsequently infused with local fruit and honey, so they retain some of the more delicate and distinctive flavours. The gins are so full of flavour they recommend best to drink with a good quality tonic, ice and slice. Established in 2018 set in the rural Cornwall countryside close to the Helford River. Rosemullion Distillery are creating artisan spirits including gin and rum, they are passionate for quality, flavour and authenticity. The water used in the fermentation and distillation is Cornish rainwater! The use of local ingredients including Cornish seasonal fruit and honey make for a cracking product. They are also focused on minimising their environmental impact. They ferment their own alcohol, distil and bottle at the same location.
