Cadus Tunuyan Pinot Noir 2021
Cadus Tunuyán Pinot Noir hails from the high central core of Argentina’s Uco Valley, where this variety shows its most ethereal and exotic character under the guidance of winemaker Santi Mayorga. Production This wine is crafted from a low-yield vineyard at 1,400 metres above sea level, with alluvial soils and native vegetation promoting balanced ripening. Cool nights preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. Fermentation is carried out with a portion of stems in open-top tanks, and 50% of the wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels of varying sizes and ages to enhance texture and complexity. Tasting notes Cadus Tunuyán Pinot Noir displays vibrant cherry and cinnamon spice on the nose, with subtle herbal notes adding complexity. On the palate, it is well balanced, with bright acidity, soft tannins, and a persistent fresh finish, expressing the elegance and typicity of high-altitude Uco Valley Pinot Noir. Food match Pairs beautifully with lamb, duck, grilled salmon, and aged cheeses. Also complements lighter game, mushroom dishes, or herb-roasted vegetables. Grape Pinot Noir 100%
