From the Strictly Limited series, this was distilled in 2011 at the Glenrothes Distillery, rested in Oloroso casks to finish and then bottled in 2021, aged 9 years old and producing 1,900 bottles. The Morrison Family select whiskies from distilleries across Scotland. Bottled at high strength and non-chill filtered, they retain all the flavour. Releasing whisky as it should be.

Linkwood 12 Year Old Flora & Fauna is a refined Speyside single malt whisky celebrated for its floral elegance, soft fruit character and smooth, integrated complexity. Part of Diageo’s Flora & Fauna series, this 12-year-old expression showcases the distinctive style of the Linkwood distillery, located near Elgin in the heart of Speyside. The whisky is matured in a combination of American and European oak casks and bottled at 43% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration, preserving its full texture and flavour. On the nose, it opens with fresh soft fruits and a hint of vanilla, followed by light cigar-box notes and a faint touch of expensive perfume. With a splash of water, the aroma evolves into carnations, lavender and a whiff of perfumed smoke. The palate is sweet and viscous, offering nutty cereal notes, orchard fruits and citrus, balanced by cedar wood and a subtle herbal dryness.
