The whisky was then expertly finished in the finest Cognac casks from the Cognac region of France, where the residual Cognac imparts additional layers of richness, dried fruit, and warming spice that elevate the spirit to a new level of complexity. Tasting Notes The nose is inviting and complex, with roast chestnut and peanut brittle overlapping sweet bramble and summer fruit pudding.
