Founded by Gregory Perrucci, the estate is dedicated to producing authentic Puglian wines that express the unique terroir of the Manduria region, particularly its distinctive iron-rich red soils. Production The Primitivo vines grow in shallow red soils typical of the Manduria region, characterized by high levels of iron oxides that impart distinctive minerality. Harvested at the start of September, the grapes are fermented and then matured for around 6 months in French barriques to add complexity while preserving the vibrant fruit character. Tasting Notes Aromas of cherry, red berry and balsamic notes from oak ageing. The palate has ripe fruits, bright acidity and rounded tannins with a mineral edge from the iron-rich soils.
