Cask Masters Auchroisk 14 Year Old 2011 1st Fill Saint Estephe 50.5%

Cask Masters Auchroisk 14 Year Old 2011 1st Fill Saint Estèphe is a characterful single cask whisky that brings together Auchroisk’s bright, orchard‑fruit spirit with the depth and structure of a premium Bordeaux red wine cask. Matured for fourteen years and finished in a first fill Saint Estèphe barrique, it develops a rich interplay of red fruit, spice and polished oak, with the wine cask adding subtle tannins and a refined, vinous complexity. Bottled at natural strength, it delivers a full, expressive and distinctive Speyside experience. The nose shows blackcurrant, raspberry and cherry compote layered with honeyed malt, vanilla and gentle baking spice, alongside hints of cedar and wine‑soaked oak. The palate is vibrant and full, opening with sweet red berries, plum and dark chocolate before moving into toasted oak, warming spice and a touch of dried herbs. The finish is long and structured, carrying lingering berry sweetness, soft spice and elegant oak with a final echo of red wine richness.
