Castellare di Castellina, Chianti Classico Kosher 2019

This is a wonderfully pure and expressive Chianti Classico - bright cherry and red plum aromas lifted by violets and a gentle herbal note, underpinned by subtle spice and soft earthiness. On the palate it’s medium-bodied, lively and harmonious, with fine tannins and a fresh, food-friendly finish that speaks of the stony Galestro soils of Castellina. Castellare di Castellina was born of the union of four estates (Castellare, Caselle, San Niccolò and Le Case) on the initiative of Paolo Panerai, with the aim of producing wine of the best possible quality. This was in the 1970s, when the so-called Renaissance of Italian wine had begun. Castellare has long been known for its dedication to biodiversity (every label features a different endangered bird) and its commitment to traditional Tuscan winemaking with a refined, modern touch. This kosher bottling is a natural extension of the estate’s philosophy: wines of authenticity and sense of place, made to be shared.

Michel Magnien Morey-Saint-Denis 2019

' Michel Magnien represents the fourth generation of wine growers of the Magnien family. From a very young age, he worked on the vineyard of his father, Bernard Magnien (third generation) owner of 4 hectares of vines. The Domaine is an 18-hectare vine Estate located on the Côte de Nuits and spilt into 23 appellations of Grands Crus, Premiers Crus, Villages and AOC Regionales. After years of application, Domaine Michel Magnien was certified as biodynamic by Demeter in 2015. At each stage, the work follows the rhythm of the synodic cycle of the moon. They are fully committed to organic agricultural principles in their management of vines and wines. Thanks to Michel Magnien's special care for his vines over the years, the wines are unique and faithful to the best terroirs in Burgundy. The Estate is now managed by Frederic, the fifth generation, who strives to raise our wines at the highest level of quality. Aged for 18 months. Ageing takes place in 55% oak barrels and 45% in terracotta amphorae to preserve the freshness of the fruit. '
