Centelleo Virua Moscatel Sauvignon Blanc 2025

Centelleo is a vibrant, expressive white wine from La Mancha, produced by Vinos Más Buscados and a project founded by Fergal Tynan MW and Giles Cooke MW with the goal of uncovering Spain's lesser-known winemaking regions, growers, and traditions. Driven by Fergal's focus on terroir and Giles' instinct for flavour, this wine showcases Spain's hidden vinous treasures at exceptional value. Lemon-yellow in colour with floral notes, citrus and grapefruit flavours, a hint of honey from the Moscatel, and a palate balanced by refreshing acidity. Why You'll Love It This is Centelleo from Vinos Más Buscados, a project led by two Masters of Wine — Fergal Tynan and Giles Cooke who is dedicated to finding wines of exceptional quality from Spain's largely unsung regions. The grapes are sourced from a combination of trellised and bush vines in the Manzanares district of La Mancha, a region renowned for its limestone soils. The majority of the grapes are harvested at night by machine to preserve their natural acidity and bright, vibrant fruit flavours. The wines are made entirely from free-run juice and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, then matured on fine lees until bottling to enhance freshness and aromatic intensity. The result is a lively, expressive white wine that stands out at this price point. This is Spanish white wine with character, freshness, and exceptional value.
