Chambolle-Musigny 'Les Bussieres', Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Anne et Hervé Sigaut 2021
From the village wine right up to the senior crus, the domaine manages to capture Chambolle’s signature florality and sensuousness. We are really pleased to offer these. The grapes are biodynamically farmed, 100% destemmed, and the wines unfiltered and unfined.
Craggy Range Le Sol Syrah Gimblett 2019
Le sol translated from French means the soil, appropriate when one considers the significant impact the stony soils of our Gimblett Gravels Vineyard have on our wine called "Le Sol". They keep the growth and crop of these old clone Syrah vines in check and provide warmth in the autumn, all critical factors in developing the enormous character and presence this wine has. Traditionally made, heady aromas, luscious yet classical texture. "Le Sol" is all at once luscious, elegant and exuberant and in a very short time it has shown the breeding of Syrah in the Gimblett Gravels. Densely coloured with vibrant purple hues. Intense aromas of prune, blackberry and liquorice abound, boosted by floral elements of thyme, lavender and white pepper. The palate is incredibly rich, with fine, silky tannins that provide a lush, sensuous texture. The finish is refined and polished, deep and smooth. Food Match: Game meats Cellaring: 15 years from vintage
