CHAMBOLLE MUSIGNY Orveaux des Bussières Domaine Christophe Perrot-Minot 2018
The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes contains around 40% declassified fruit from La Combe d’Orveau this year. It has plenty of brambly red fruit on the nose, and strong crushed stone scents emerge with time. The palate is medium-bodied with clean, precise tannins, very well-judged acidity and a harmonious, silky-smooth finish that does not outstay its welcome. Enjoy this over the next decade.
MAZIS CHAMBERTIN Grand Cru Domaine Faiveley 2014
Brilliant aromas and flavours of cherry, strawberry, currant and mineral highlight this complex red. Intense and elegant, building to a kaleidoscopic finish. Structured and harmonious, showing terrific ageing potential. Best from 2020 through 2039.
