Champ Divin, Cuvée Pollux Chardonnay/Savagnin, Côtes du Jura 2018
Fantastically complex wine, almost like a cross between Fino sherry and a fine old Burgundy. Earthy mushroomy hints lead on to a fresh palate with weight and great depth with terrific length of flavour.
LIRAC Rouge Cuvée de la Reine des Bois Domaine de la Mordorée 2022
A seductive, serious and textural blend of grenache, syrah and mourvedre. The nose expresses notes of sweet cherries, roasted meat, dark plums, baking spices and a dash of cocoa powder. It’s full-bodied with finely grained tannins. Dense and harmonious with a focused finish of excellent length. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold.
