Champ Divin, Cuvée Pollux Chardonnay/Savagnin, Côtes du Jura 2018
Fantastically complex wine, almost like a cross between Fino sherry and a fine old Burgundy. Earthy mushroomy hints lead on to a fresh palate with weight and great depth with terrific length of flavour.
Roxheimer Höllenpfad Riesling Trocken, Dönnhoff, Nahe 2024
Yellow plum and greengage are in evidence on the nose but the palate revels in stone fruit and candied ginger spice. The spiciest Riesling of the dry wines, this single vineyard sits on red sandstone which produces weightier wines.
