Champagne Egérie de Pannier, Rosé de Saignée Brut NV

The Égérie de Pannier Rosé de Saignée Brut NV from Champagne Pannier is a copper-pink Champagne made using the rare saignée method — a short maceration on the skins of Pinot Noir before the juice is “bled” off. It’s composed of approximately 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, and is aged for a minimum of nine years. On the nose, expect ripe red-and-black fruits mingled with a delicate floral lift. The palate brings generous fruit weight, fine texture and richness, balanced by fresh acidity and a graceful minerality, leading to a long, refined finish. Champagne Pannier was founded in 1899 and is based in Château-Thierry in the Vallée de la Marne. Its historic medieval chalk cellars date back to the 12th century, giving the wines a cool and slow maturation environment.

Taittinger Prestige Rose Champagne

Taittinger Prestige Rosé is a vibrant and elegant Champagne that immediately stands out for its intense, shimmering pink hue. Crafted as a blend with 15% still red wine from the best Pinot Noirs of Montagne de Reims and Les Riceys, combined with 30% Chardonnay, this Champagne offers unmistakable colour and vibrant intensity on the palate, balanced by the elegance and delicacy that underpin Taittinger's signature style. Why You'll Love It This is Rosé Champagne at its finest—lively, fruity, fresh and elegant. Unlike many rosé Champagnes, Taittinger Prestige Rosé is produced using the more complex and costly blending method, adding still red wine from the finest Pinot Noir vineyards to create its distinctive colour and intensity. The high proportion of Chardonnay brings the elegance and finesse that Taittinger is renowned for, resulting in a Champagne that strikes a perfect balance between vibrant fruit character and refined sophistication. Vineyard & Production A blend of 15% still red wine produced from the best Pinot Noirs from Montagne de Reims and Les Riceys, combined with 30% Chardonnay and other grape varieties. The still red wine is added to the final blend to give this cuvée its unmistakable colour and vibrant intensity on the palate, while the Chardonnay brings elegance and delicacy. This blending method is more complex and costly to produce than other rosé Champagne techniques. Tasting Notes This elegant Champagne displays an intense and brilliant bright pink colour with fine bubbles and persistent mousse. The nose is full, wonderfully expressive, both fresh and young, giving off aromas of red fruits including freshly crushed wild raspberry, cherry and blackcurrant. The palate strikes a fine balance of velvet texture and full body, with flavours reminiscent of fresh, crisp red fruits. The finish is lively, fruity, fresh and elegant. Perfect Pairings A versatile Champagne that can be enjoyed both early on and at the end of an evening. Deliciously fragranced
