Pommery Royal Brut Champagne
Pommery Brut Royal is the signature expression of one of Champagne's most iconic and historic houses. Lively, fresh and refined, it is the purest distillation of the Pommery style, blending fruit from 40 selected villages across the Côte des Blancs, Montagne de Reims and other premier areas of the Champagne region. Why You'll Love It Pommery has been producing Champagne since 1836, and Brut Royal is the wine that best captures the house's enduring philosophy: elegance over power, freshness over richness, finesse above all else. The emphasis on Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs gives the wine its characteristic vivacity and delicacy, while the Montagne de Reims fruit adds depth and structure. The result is a Champagne of real class and consistency, as perfect for a celebration as it is for a quiet glass on its own. Vineyard and Production Sourced from 40 carefully selected villages across the Champagne region, with a focus on the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, where the cool climate and chalky soils bring out the liveliness and delicacy of the Chardonnay grape. The blend is crafted each year by Pommery's cellar team to maintain the consistent house style that has made Brut Royal one of the world's most recognisable Champagnes. Tasting Notes Pale yellow in colour with faint green highlights and a fine, persistent mousse. Fresh and lively on the nose, with notes of white blossom, citrus and green apple. The palate is crisp and elegant, with a delicate balance of fruit and acidity, leading to a clean, refined and lingering finish. Perfect Pairings Outstanding as an aperitif and equally at home at the table. Pairs beautifully with oysters, smoked salmon, sushi, soft cheeses and light canapés. Also excellent alongside grilled fish or a classic prawn cocktail. Grape Varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir , Pinot Meunier
