Château Canet, La Chapelle Minervois 2020

Château Canet's Minervois La Chapelle is rich and full-bodied yet lifted, with old-vine Grenache delivering generous, fleshy fruit, fine ripe tannins, and a bright mix of berry and violet on the finish. It’s already drinking beautifully, but a subtle leathery note hints at what a few more years in bottle will bring. La Chapelle takes its name from the 12th-century chapel that once stood in this vineyard, now home to the estate’s oldest Grenache vines. With yields as low as 20hl/ha, the parcel was nearly pulled up in 2009, but Floris and Victoria chose to preserve it - a decision that’s clearly paid off.

Les Brulieres de Beychevelle Haut-Medoc 2019

Chateau Beychevelle is a 4th Classed Growth Saint-Julien estate. Located in Cussac-Fort-Medoc, in the Haut-Medoc appellation, 5 km south of the château itself, the vines for Les Brulieres benefit from a cooler climate bringing a lot of freshness and fruity character to its wines. The 12 hectares of vineyard are composed exclusively of two grape varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Aged in a separate cellar, Brulières de Beychevelle benefits from the same care as Château Beychevelle. 65% Merlot - 35% Cabernet Sauvignon.
