Château Monbousquet 2020
Monbousquet’s terroir is truly exceptional, with mostly warm, deep gravel to the south and sandy-clay soils to the north. As at Cheval Blanc and Figeac its soils are largely gravel, and thus warm, so relatively late-ripening Cabernets can ripen perfectly. This natural feature accounts for the particularly large proportion of these grapes in the vineyard’s composition.

Vineyards Located at the southern tip of the Eola–Amity Hills in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, the Roserock vineyard benefits from ancient volcanic soils, ideal elevation, and the cooling influence of the Van Duzer corridor, which helps preserve acidity and lengthen the growing season. The estate’s 35 vineyard blocks are LIVE-certified sustainable, reflecting a deep respect for the land and environment. Vinification The Roserock Pinot Noir is crafted as a cuvée selection from individually hand-picked and sorted blocks across the estate. Each parcel is fermented separately to preserve its unique character before blending.
