Chateau Puech-Haut, Argali Blanc 2025

Nestled between the shores of the Mediterranean and the foothills of the Cévennes, the Puech-Haut estate extends over more than one hundred and fifty hectares. The castle was built there with good reason: an ideal climate, passionate men and land covered with pudding stones (galets), made famous in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Through wine, the personalities and the richness of an entire region are also expressed and shared. Thus, the wines of Château Puech-Haut are all steeped in history and endowed with a singular identity and a strong character. The history of Château Puech-Haut is closely linked to that of its founder, Gérard Bru. A man who, after a successful industrial career, decided to leave everything behind to reconnect with his roots: The land of Languedoc. This region of southern France was already full of history for Gérard. It was on this land that he was introduced to vineyards by his grandfather. And it is also here that his father worked as intendant of the National School of Agronomy of Montpellier. It was there, at the time just scrubland and wild olive groves, that he built his dream.

Lantides Estate Little Ark White 2025

Lantides Estate Little Ark is a crisp, mineral-driven white from the Peloponnese — a 50/50 blend of Malagousia and Assyrtiko, two of Greece's most exciting indigenous white varieties, grown at 700 metres altitude on Scotini Mountain in the Skoteini Valley. Hand-harvested, unoaked, and vinified in stainless steel to preserve aromatic purity, this is a wine of real freshness, character, and terroir. Praised by both James Suckling and Decanter, it is one of the most compelling Greek whites at this price. Why You'll Love It Lantides Estate was founded in 1993 by Panikos Lantides, who trained in oenology in Montpellier and Bordeaux before returning to Nemea to craft wines from traditional Greek varietals with modern precision. The estate spans 25 hectares across the Skoteini Valley at altitudes between 500–650 metres, with the Little Ark fruit sourced from the highest plots at 700m — where cool nights and bright acidity define the character of every vintage. Malagousia brings exotic aromatics and floral lift; Assyrtiko brings the mineral backbone and citrus drive. Together they are a revelation. Vineyard & Production Grapes are hand-harvested from high-altitude plots on Scotini Mountain at 700 metres, ensuring bright acidity and freshness. Vinified unoaked in stainless steel tanks to preserve aromatic purity and mineral character. Serve chilled at 8–10°C. Tasting Notes Brilliant straw with greenish hues. The nose reveals exotic fruit, melon, lemon, green pepper, jasmine, and orange. The palate is vibrant and expressive — peach and green apple flavours with a lingering, lemony, mineral finish. “Bright and zesty with lifted citrus and peach notes, a lively expression of Greek varietals.” — James Suckling. “Fresh, aromatic, and perfectly balanced for summer drinking.” — Decanter. Perfect Pairings Ideal with Greek salads, shellfish, grilled white fish, and seafood mezze. Also excellent with lemon-dressed vegetables, soft goat's cheese, and light pasta dishes. Grape Variety M
