Chateau Puech-Haut Tete de Belier Blanc 2023

'Nestled between the shores of the Mediterranean and the foothills of the Cévennes, the Puech-Haut estate extends over more than one hundred and fifty hectares. The castle was built there with good reason: an ideal climate, passionate men and land covered with pudding stones (galets), made famous in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Through wine, the personalities and the richness of an entire region are also expressed and shared. Thus, the wines of Château Puech-Haut are all steeped in history and endowed with a singular identity and a strong character. The history of Château Puech-Haut is closely linked to that of its founder, Gérard Bru. A man who, after a successful industrial career, decided to leave everything behind to reconnect with his roots: The land of Languedoc. This region of southern France was already full of history for Gérard. It was on this land that he was introduced to vineyards by his grandfather. And it is also here that his father worked as intendant of the National School of Agronomy of Montpellier. It was there, at the time just scrubland and wild olive groves, that he built his dream.'

La Crema Chardonnay Sonoma Coast 2023

La Cream Sonoma Chardonnay captures the elegance and vibrancy of Sonoma County fruit, reflecting the unique growing conditions of the vintage. Weather conditions for the vintage Sonoma County experienced record-breaking and persistent rainfall throughout winter and early spring 2023. Bud break occurred later than usual, with emerging leaves in late March. Spring remained relatively cool, keeping the growing season 3–4 weeks behind schedule. This extended hang time allowed for ideal flavour development and excellent acid retention. Harvest began on 21st September, yielding grapes with concentrated flavour and vibrant acidity. Vinification The grapes were gently pressed and allowed to settle for 24 hours before racking into barrels for fermentation. The wine was aged on lees for approximately six months, with monthly stirring to enhance texture and complexity. Winemaker comments On the nose, the wine displays aromas of Meyer lemon, white flowers, and subtle oak nuances. The palate reveals golden peach and pineapple, layered with hints of graham cracker crust and supported by vibrant, concentrated acidity that leads to a long, refreshing finish. Food match Perfect with seafood, roasted chicken, creamy pasta dishes, or as a refined aperitif. Grape Chardonnay 100%
