CHÂTEAU TOUR DU MOULIN Fronsac 2022
The 2022 Tour du Haut Moulin has a precocious bouquet with black cherries and cassis fruit, crushed violets emerging with time in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a ripe entry, fine acidity, quite citrus-fresh with hints of blood orange toward its live wire, tensile finish. Plenty of energy here. Bon vin.
Te Mata Cape Crest Sauvignon Blanc, Hawke's Bay (124cl) 2024
A great nose, reminiscent of nectarine skins, passion fruit, guava, cream, toast, honey and wax. The palate shows great energy, juicy acidity and tang, with plenty of grip, pronounced mineral flavours and tension ahead of a long, fragrant, toasty and mealy finish. Delicious yet capable of a decade in the cellar.
