This wine is dark ruby in color with a pure sweet nose of black cherries, and Tayberry, along with a waft of forest floor. It is a medium to full bodied wine of substance and surprising length. It is cooling on the palate with voluminous mouthfeel that leads to a long finish with a touch of cocoa, spic, and subtle lingering toasted oak.

Proemio means Prologue in Old Medieval Spanish, Marcelo chose this name as he was the first generation of the family to produce his own wines, beginning a new legacy. Since then he has been discovering his winemaking style based on the deconstruction of French Blend.
