Cihuatan Sahumerio Limited Edition Rum
This Limited Edition released rum is made from a blend of 4 rums, all are aged between 12 and 14 years old. The aroma and taste of this rum carry notes that celebrate different things: Incense - In honor of friendship. Carnation Honey - In honor of romance. Cacao Butter - In honor of self love. Dried Apricots - In honor of family love. Dried Myrtle - In honor of romance. Cihuatan Sahumerio is a limited edition rum created as a celebration of love. According to Mayan lore, fire was the symbol of love and the eagle goddess Chantico was its guardian. Thus, every loving home would keep a "Sahumerio", a sacred vessel for fire. These Sahumerios would burn day and night in honor of love. The Maya were a tight-knit community and deeply valued love and relationships. To attract love, they would perform a simple and enchanting ritual: in a Sahumerio, they would burn treats to gain the goddess Chantico’s graces. Each treat had a meaning: dried flowers or floral honey for romance, dried fruits for family unity, incense for friendship, cacao, seeds and butters for self protection.
Eminente Gran Reserva 10 Year Old
Presenting the premium Cuban rum from Eminente: Initially distilled from molasses to an ABV (alcohol by volume) of 75%, the aguardiente is aged in white oak ex-whisky barrels. It is then blended with traditional light Cuban rum, which is distilled to an ABV of 95%, and aged once more. For the inaugural edition of Eminente Gran Reserva, the 10-year-old Cuban rum is finished for three months in French oak barrels.
