Beguiling nose of blueberries and dark cassis with dark cherry fig rolls. Rich and opulent fruit with the tannins coming to the fore to bring freshness. No whole bunch as the fruit is so powerful and structured. 70% new oak.
LUPICAIA Castello del Terriccio 2000
Very deep crimson. Very fresh and fine bordeaux blend. Tastes as though it had been grown somewhere higher than 120-150 m above the Mediterranean in the distance. Lovely balance and fully evolved.
