Cloudy Bay Chardonnay 2022
Often overlooked in favour of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon blanc, their chardonnay is simply put as a fantastic wine. The appealing nose of the 2019 chardonnay affords aromas of stonefruit, white floral, smokey oak and spice. The palate it fresh and lively with a bright acid backbone. Flavours abound of nectarines & peaches, juicy citrus and grapefruit pith. Good length with delicate texture and a fine mineral thread. This chardonnay is an ideal partner to richer foods such as steamed crab, grilled white fish and fresh egg noodle pasta.
Louis Guntrum Hipping Riesling
Made using grapes from vines that are more than 40 years old, grown on steep slopes overlooking the Rhine river. Pair it with smoked fish or Thai green curry.
