Compass Box Affinity is an unexpected celebration of Whisky and Calvados in a bottle. This kinship showcases the delights that come from both Scotland and Normandy. Compass Box have been blending Calvados with Scotch at home and in their blending room for years. The flavour combination is a classic; apples and spice riffing off dried fruits and vanilla. These two spirits share richness, sweetness and complexity; the Calvados lends an intensity and length to the finish which enhances the character to the Scotch. Serve over ice, mix with amari and vermouth into a unique twist on the boulevardier, or pair with a deliciously sweet tarte tatin. This spirit drink is a very easy drinking delicious gold nectar which is made up of; 38% Calvados Pays D'Auge, Domain Christian Drouin (primarily French Barrique), 29% Highland Malt Blend (Custom made French oak barrels, blend of three toast levels(, 20% Speyside Single Malt whisky (finished in first fill sherry butts) & 13% blended scotch whisky, blended and aged in cask (refill sherry butts).
