Resonance Pinot Noir 2022

Résonance Pinot Noir is a refined red wine from Oregon's Willamette Valley, crafted by Maison Louis Jadot's American estate to showcase the elegance and complexity of Pinot Noir through Burgundian expertise and New World terroir. With expressive fruit, savoury depth and a mineral finish, this is a wine that beautifully bridges Old World tradition and American vibrancy. Why You'll Love It This is Oregon Pinot Noir at its finest elegant, complex, and beautifully balanced. Résonance is the Willamette Valley estate of Burgundy's legendary Maison Louis Jadot , bringing centuries of winemaking expertise to one of America's most exciting Pinot Noir regions. The result is a wine that combines Burgundian finesse with the purity and intensity of Oregon fruit, offering exceptional quality and character. Vineyard & Production Sourced from the Résonance Vineyard, planted in 1981 on ungrafted rootstock, along with select sites across the Willamette Valley. The region's volcanic soils and cool climate provide ideal conditions for Pinot Noir, delivering fruit with purity and intensity. Grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted before fermentation, with ageing for around fifteen months in French oak barrels, approximately thirty percent of which are new. This approach enhances structure and complexity while preserving freshness and terroir expression. Tasting Notes This elegant Pinot Noir opens with aromas of wild strawberry, mulberry and floral notes, layered with black cherry, cranberry and subtle spice. The palate is medium-bodied, showing ripe fruit alongside earthy and savoury undertones, with hints of espresso, bitter chocolate and cedar. A mineral streak runs through the wine, adding precision and length. The finish is long, elegant and balanced, with fine tannins and a touch of smokiness. Perfect Pairings A versatile food wine, perfect with roast duck, grilled salmon, mushroom risotto, charcuterie boards, roasted chicken, or wild mushroom dishes. Also excellent with ref
