Unoaked, this is rich and characterful, with ripe Chardonnay fruit showing flavours of butter and toffee with a slightly lemony edge, made by one of Chile's oldest wine firms.

Piquepoul is a very localised white grape growing just inland of the Mediterranean shore south of Montpellier. Marc Cabrol makes a typical fresh and mineral style that has all the lemony balance required to match fish and oysters.
