Crusty Juggler Black Strap Pineapple Rum
Produced by taking the superb Crusty Juggler Black Spiced Rum , aged base rum and blend with demerara sugar and black strap molasses, then macerated with fresh pineapple till it’s tasting great, before bottling, labelling and waxing by hand. The resulting nectar has aromas of bright, fresh pineapple nestled amongst creamy fudge, a touch of stone fruits like peach and mango. Subtle notes of banana and treacly molasses. The palate is full and lush. The molasses provides a rich texture and earthy, dark fruit notes while the bucket loads of pineapple take a back seat. This is first and foremost a ‘RUM’. You can taste the fudgy, vanilla and oaky notes from cask, then in comes the fresh, tropical pineapple wave to round it all off. Much like the original black spiced rum, delicious sipped neat, but mixes incredibly well with ginger beer or in any tropical cocktail.
Takamaka Extra Noir Rum
This Extra Noir is a blend of pot and column distilled molasses rum, soaked with French oak then pressed with both French and ex bourbon wood. After settling in ex French cane rum casks for 60 days the result is a full bodied, punchy rum that retains some high ester funk and spicy elements of the French oak. Notes of vanilla and sweet undertones from the ex bourbon come in at the end to round off this lovely rum.
