Diplomatico No.1 Batch Kettle Rum 70
Diplomatico has released a new range of limited edition rums showcasing Diplomatico's differing distillation processes. Kettle No.1 is a batch distillation, which means that a a volume of fermented liquid is introduced for distillation, as this is gradually depleted, it leaves a residue of water, which is then drained off to be added to the next batch. This is controlled by Maestros Roneros and is considered a semi-artisanal system. This rum has been been selected from the best sugar cane honeys and aged for 6 years in bourbon casks which results in a complex medium bodied aged rum. Sweet vanilla with notes of cherry and strawberry, complex with a touch on banana. Well balanced palate, sweet initially followed by tropical fruits, finishing soft and slightly sweet. Mount Gay XO Barbados Rum
A small-batch blend of carefully selected mature rums with balanced aromas of vanilla, oak and spice, and sweet flavours of salted caramel, baked fig, clove and dark chocolate. Serve neat, on the rocks, or in a cocktail.
