Dolan & Dunn Barossa Valley Shiraz Grenache 2023
A blend of Shiraz and Grenache, this bright, elegant wine is stamped with the distinctive character of the Barossa. Shiraz brings dark fruit, richness and depth, while the Grenache adds an alluring silky fruitiness. Berry flavours from raspberry, mulberry, blackberry and blueberry are enhanced with a gentle spice, while the fleshiness of blood-plum rounds out the palate. Medium to full bodied with a supple texture. Juicy fruit and subtle oak are brought together in a smooth, approachable palate with soft tannins and a lingering finish.

Color is an intense deep ruby. The first impression on the nose is of complexity, a wide variety of aromas express themselves. Usually the first nose we get is of tobacco leaves, potpourri and then prune jam, chocolate mint (after eight!) and more It evolves with opening time. ON the palate it shows round body with a concentrated middle mouth that adds weight and allows the wine to last. Tannins are concentrated and thick, but the roundness softens these edges and gives overall a good balance.
