DOLCETTO DOGLIANI Papà Celso Marziano Abbona 2023
Abbona's 2023 Dogliani Papa Celso is a dark, brooding wine. Unusually, I don't find it markedly different from the San Luigi in this vintage. Copious dark fruit, leather, incense and cloves reinforce an initial impression of brooding intensity.
