Domaine Hubert Brochard, IGP Sauvignon Blanc 2024

Domaine Hubert Brochard is a name that belongs to the heart of Sancerre country, and this IGP Sauvignon Blanc is their everyday expression — the wine you reach for on a Tuesday without ceremony but with no loss of pleasure. Sourced from vineyards in the greater Loire, it's uncluttered and honest: bright green apple, white grapefruit, a herbal lift, and the kind of clean, mouthwatering finish that makes you want another glass before you've finished the first. At the IGP level, Brochard keeps things light and focused — no oak, no fuss, just the grape doing what it does best in this part of France. Drink it young and cold, ideally with something simple and good to eat alongside it.

Pradio Priara Pinot Grigio 2024

The Cielo family’s estate, located in the prestigious Friuli Grave DOC, is renowned for producing high-quality white and sparkling wines. With vineyards planted with Glera, Pinot Grigio, Friulano, and Sauvignon Blanc, the estate combines centuries of tradition with meticulous vineyard management to produce wines of exceptional freshness, elegance, and aromatic intensity. Friuli Grave’s alluvial soils and ideal climate contribute to the region’s reputation as one of Italy’s finest areas for white wine production. Winemaking Meticulous grape selection is followed by soft pressing, with fermentation using a combination of yeasts and partial malolactic fermentation. The wine rests on noble lees and is aged in stainless steel before a minimum of three months in bottle to develop complexity and freshness. Tasting Note Pradio Estate Pinot Grigio shows a bright, saturated straw-yellow hue and a complex bouquet of wildflowers, ripe apple, and banana. The palate is fresh, well-balanced, and long, with a pleasant lingering finish, reflecting both the purity of the grape and the finesse of the winemaking. Viticulture 100% family estate grown on alluvial soils with 40–60% stone content. Vines are trained using the Guyot method at a density of 4,500 vines per hectare. Yields average 9 tonnes per hectare, with harvest typically occurring in the first half of September. Food Matching Pairs beautifully with fish, poultry, creamy vegetable dishes, and pasta.
