Don Papa Single Island Rum is crafted on the island of Negros in the Philippines, where the rich volcanic soil produces exceptionally sweet, high‑quality sugarcane. Distilled from molasses and aged in American oak, it’s known for its smooth, rounded character and dessert‑like flavour profile that appeals to both rum newcomers and seasoned drinkers. On the nose, it offers generous aromas of vanilla, caramel and candied citrus, with a touch of tropical fruit. The palate is soft and indulgent, opening with notes of toffee, honey and warm spice before developing hints of dried fruit and cocoa. A gentle sweetness carries through to the finish, leaving lingering flavours of vanilla and lightly toasted oak. The palate is round, smooth and supple, ending with notes of liquorice and vanilla.
