Dubourdieu, Clos Floridène Graves Blanc 2020
Clos Floridène vineyard, in Pujols sur Ciron, located in the Graves region, has been slowly developed since 1982 by Denis and Florence Dubourdieu, thanks to the successive purchases of plots located in the best terroirs. The name of the estate is derived from the two founders' first names. Clos Floridène Blanc has the particularities of white wines produced on great calcareous soils: green-gold colour, intense aroma with fruity notes of white peach, lemon, grapefruit, toasted and grilled nuances. Powerful and fresh flavours of fruit at its best, with the density and structure of a great white wine.
Saint-Véran, Château-Fuissé 2023
This 2023 Saint-Véran is fresh, bright and beautifully balanced, with citrus, pear and subtle almond notes leading into a clean, mineral finish. It’s classic southern Burgundy—silky, relaxed and refined without being heavy. It's brilliant with grilled prawns, lemon-roast chicken, creamy mushroom pasta or a simple goat cheese salad. Its freshness and minerality that make the 2023 vintage so appealing also make it great with oysters or sushi. Château-Fuissé is one of the benchmark estates of the Mâconnais, crafting wines since the 1600s, and this bottling shows exactly why they’re so highly regarded.
