The nose is spicy with forward notes of cinnamon, vanilla and cumin. Floral notes followed by black currant and boysenberry.

(80% whole cluster). This too is moderately reduced and tough to evaluate today. More interesting are the super-sleek and beautifully textured medium-bodied flavors that exude evident minerality on the youthfully austere, focused, linear and strikingly long and chiseled finish. This isn’t as dense as the Faconnières but it’s finer and should prove to be just as age worthy. Once to look for.
