El Enemigo, Chardonnay 2023
El Enemigo has become one of Argentina's most intriguing projects, the brainchild of Alejandro Vigil and Adrianna Catena. Their 2023 Chardonnay comes from high-altitude Mendoza vineyards where cool nights preserve the grape's natural acidity and elegance. We find this a Chardonnay that speaks more of place than of winemaker intervention. Stone fruit and citrus dance with subtle mineral undertones, whilst judicious oak adds texture without overwhelming the fruit. This is Argentine Chardonnay with serious intent.
Sancerre Les Marennes 2024
Quality Sancerre from the appellation's only cooperative cellar. This wine has been made by Fabrice Robineau to show the intense flavours and classic minerality that make this the source of the world's best Sauvignons.
