A little closed initially, it opens revealing great depth and plenty of power, a hallmark of this site. Dark fruit with hints of red, spices, present but rounded tannins and a long, complex finish.
NUITS SAINT GEORGES Charmotte Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair 2020
A very ripe but notably fresher nose offers up its notes of poached plum, cassis, black raspberry and earth. There is both good volume and succulent to the delicious and velvety but quite punchy flavors that also display fine length on the refreshing is slightly rustic finale.
