Frerejean Frères Rosé NV

Frerejean Frères founders Guillaume, Richard and Rodolphe Frerejean-Taittinger, started out making champagne for friends and family, but word spread, and they went into business in 2005. The brothers take a fresh approach to champagne that respects traditional methods, but leaves room for innovation. Their champagne is now sold in hand-selected outlets the world over, but have stayed true to a small-scale approach. The Frerejean Frères Rosé NV is the latest addition to the portfolio, bursting from the seams with red berries & raspberries, alongside lightly toasted notes of brioche and walnut, plus a gentle hint of dosage on the finish. Another triumph from one of our favourite champagne growers.

Taittinger Prestige Rose Champagne

Taittinger Prestige Rosé is a vibrant and elegant Champagne that immediately stands out for its intense, shimmering pink hue. Crafted as a blend with 15% still red wine from the best Pinot Noirs of Montagne de Reims and Les Riceys, combined with 30% Chardonnay, this Champagne offers unmistakable colour and vibrant intensity on the palate, balanced by the elegance and delicacy that underpin Taittinger's signature style. Why You'll Love It This is Rosé Champagne at its finest—lively, fruity, fresh and elegant. Unlike many rosé Champagnes, Taittinger Prestige Rosé is produced using the more complex and costly blending method, adding still red wine from the finest Pinot Noir vineyards to create its distinctive colour and intensity. The high proportion of Chardonnay brings the elegance and finesse that Taittinger is renowned for, resulting in a Champagne that strikes a perfect balance between vibrant fruit character and refined sophistication. Vineyard & Production A blend of 15% still red wine produced from the best Pinot Noirs from Montagne de Reims and Les Riceys, combined with 30% Chardonnay and other grape varieties. The still red wine is added to the final blend to give this cuvée its unmistakable colour and vibrant intensity on the palate, while the Chardonnay brings elegance and delicacy. This blending method is more complex and costly to produce than other rosé Champagne techniques. Tasting Notes This elegant Champagne displays an intense and brilliant bright pink colour with fine bubbles and persistent mousse. The nose is full, wonderfully expressive, both fresh and young, giving off aromas of red fruits including freshly crushed wild raspberry, cherry and blackcurrant. The palate strikes a fine balance of velvet texture and full body, with flavours reminiscent of fresh, crisp red fruits. The finish is lively, fruity, fresh and elegant. Perfect Pairings A versatile Champagne that can be enjoyed both early on and at the end of an evening. Deliciously fragranced
