Giffard Blue Curacao 50cl
Giffard Blue Curacao is an alcholic liqueur made from the distillation of bitter and sweet oranges, including the oils from the peel of the Laraha orange. Curacao is a Carribean island where these oranges grow, hence the name of the liqueur. It has a blood orange flavour that is fresh and mellow with a very nice bouquet of sweet citrus. As you would expect, the palate is sweet and dominated by citrus fruits notes.
Giffard Creme de Violette
Giffard Crème de Violette is a captivating violet liqueur crafted in France’s Loire Valley, using an infusion of violet flowers and extracts of violet leaves. Its striking deep purple hue with garnet tints evokes the elegance of spring blossoms and adds a touch of visual drama to any cocktail. The aroma is intensely floral, with notes of violet, rose, and a nostalgic hint of potpourri and lavender soap. On the palate, it delivers a delicate sweetness balanced by light acidity, unfolding flavours reminiscent of parma violet sweets, fresh petals, and a whisper of herbal complexity. The finish is smooth and lingering, with subtle traces of liquorice and lavender that gently fade, leaving a fragrant echo. Ideal for classic cocktails like the Aviation or Blue Moon, it also pairs beautifully with sparkling wine or dry white for a floral aperitif twist.
