GlenAllachie 21 Year Old Batch #2

GlenAllachie 21 Year Old Batch #2 is presented as a luxurious, small batch Speyside single malt that reflects the distillery’s focus on long maturation and carefully selected cask types. Drawn from a combination of richly seasoned sherry casks, it offers depth, complexity and a bold, indulgent character shaped by decades of slow ageing under Billy Walker’s stewardship. This release is crafted for collectors and enthusiasts seeking a mature whisky with power, finesse and a strong sense of distillery identity. The nose opens with dark chocolate, treacle and roasted coffee, followed by dried figs, sultanas and polished oak. Hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and orange oil add warmth and lift. The palate is full bodied and velvety, delivering layers of rich fruitcake, molasses, black cherries and cocoa, supported by leathery depth and sweet spice. Subtle notes of espresso, walnut and charred oak build towards a long, resonant finish with lingering sherry richness, gentle tannins and a final touch of dark fruit and spice.

Mossburn Jura 1993 28 Year Old 48.2% Single Cask

This 28 year old single cask single malt is old malty wood upfront on the nose, followed by linoleum, damp hay and biscuity vanilla. Rich in flavour, a little oily and notes of boiled sweets, toasted hazelnuts and more biscuity malt. Lively finish with some spice and finesse, wearing its age well - as you would expect from Jura. The Mossburn Vintage Casks range are a collection of Single Malt Whiskies each issuing from a strictly limited and select batch of casks. Each numbered release will only yield a finite number of bottles. While this means that they can never replicate the particular character of these Single Malts, it also offers an opportunity to sample what they believe to be an exceptional example of the whisky made by one of Scotland's most distinguished distilleries.
