Glencadam 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky
Glencadam 10 Year Old is the flagship expression of one of Scotland's most quietly distinguished distilleries. A multi-award winning Eastern Highlands single malt, it is celebrated for its fragrant freshness, vibrant citrus character, and a refined elegance that sets it apart from the richer, heavier styles of the north and west. Bottled at natural colour, unchillfiltered, and at 46% ABV, this is Scotch whisky at its most honest and precise. Why You'll Love It Glencadam has been distilling in Brechin since 1825, and the 10 Year Old is the expression that best captures the distillery's house style. Matured exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, it develops a natural sweetness and soft spicy oak character that complements rather than overwhelms the spirit's inherent freshness. A multi-award winner with gold medals from the IWSC, Scotch Whisky Masters, and San Francisco World Spirits Competition, this is a whisky that the industry keeps recognising for good reason. Distillery & Maturation Glencadam distillery sits in Brechin in the Eastern Highlands of Scotland, a region known for producing whiskies of finesse, natural sweetness, and aromatic clarity. The 10 Year Old is matured exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, which impart vanilla sweetness and gentle spice while preserving the lively, grassy freshness that defines the Glencadam character. Bottled without chill filtration and at a robust 46% ABV to retain full flavour and natural texture. Tasting Notes The nose is tangy and fresh with aromas of tropical fruits and citrus, bound by a soft vanilla sweetness and baking spices. On the palate, bright and grassy with layers of pineapple, lemon curd, and brioche, with citrus zest highlights throughout. The finish is clean and crisp with notes of yellow fruits, vanilla pod, and nutmeg spice. Best enjoyed neat or with a small drop of water to open up the aromas. Perfect Serve Enjoy neat at room temperature to appreciate the full freshness and complexity
