Glencadam 15 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

Glencadam 15 Year Old is a beautifully balanced, fruity, and creamy Eastern Highlands single malt that represents the distillery at its most expressive. Wholly matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, it is a whisky of real depth and elegance, awarded an outstanding 98 points out of 100 at the IWSC and widely regarded as one of the finest single malts at its age. Bottled at natural colour, unchillfiltered, and at 46% ABV. Why You'll Love It Five more years in the cask transforms Glencadam's already impressive 10 Year Old into something altogether richer and more complex. The additional maturation in American oak ex-bourbon barrels builds layers of orchard fruit, creamy vanilla, and gentle spice that make this one of the most rewarding whiskies in the Eastern Highlands style. With gold medals from the IWSC, Scotch Whisky Masters, and San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the industry verdict is clear. This is exceptional whisky. Distillery & Maturation Glencadam distillery has been producing whisky in Brechin since 1825, and the 15 Year Old is wholly matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks throughout its entire ageing period. This single cask type builds a consistent, characterful profile of orchard fruits, sweet vanilla, and creamy texture that defines the Glencadam house style at its most developed. Bottled without chill filtration and at a full 46% ABV to preserve every nuance of flavour. Tasting Notes The nose is pronounced and inviting, with orchard fruits and vanilla pod mingled with citrus peel and toasted nuts. On the palate, sweet and creamy with layers of sugared almond and panna cotta, followed by notes of dried apple, nutmeg, and cocoa powder. The finish is perfectly balanced, with creamy rice pudding and gentle cinnamon spices lingering long on the tongue. Best enjoyed neat or with a small drop of water. Perfect Serve Enjoy neat to appreciate the full depth and creaminess of the spirit, or add a few drops of still water to open up the orchard fruit

Teaninich 2008 Cask 710888 11 Year Old Single Malt Whisky Berry Bros & Rudd

This is a firm, nutty and fruity malt with bruised apples and sugar-sprinkled baked pastry emerging on the nose. The mouth-feel expands nicely to deliver cider apples and toasted crumpet notes, with a dash of honey to bind it nicely. This is full, fruity and malty to the last with a good long finish. Teaninich is to be found near the Cromarty Firth in the North East Highlands. Founded in 1817 by Captain High Munro, the distillery produces malt whisky in high demand from blenders. The mashing process is different here as they use a mash filter rather than the conventional mash tun to extract the worts. Distilled in 2008, drawn from Cask #710888 after ageing for 11 years and bottled in 2019 by Berry Bros. & Rudd
