Glenfarclas 12 Year Old is a beautifully balanced Highland single malt that builds on the distillery’s signature sherry‑cask style with extra depth, richness and maturity. It remains true to the family‑owned character of Glenfarclas, offering a whisky that is both approachable and refined, with a classic profile that appeals to seasoned drinkers and newcomers alike. The nose shows warm honey, dried fruit and gentle oak, lifted by hints of citrus and vanilla. On the palate it is fuller and richer than the 10 year old, with flavours of toffee, sultana, malt sweetness and a touch of spice from the sherry wood. A subtle nuttiness and soft oak round out the mid‑palate. The finish is long, smooth and warming, leaving lingering notes of fruitcake, caramel and gentle spice that showcase the elegance of extended ageing.

Initially released to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the founding of Lagavulin distillery by John Johnston in 1816, this eight-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is big and smoky. A celebration of the people and craft that have made Lagavulin great over the last two centuries, its fragrant, tea-scented smoke alongside nose-drying, maritime aromas is unlocked with just a drop of water. Inspired by the visit of Alfred Barnard to the distillery in the 1880s when he tried an 'exceptionally fine' eight-year-old from the distillery, this is a fitting tribute for the milestone.
