Glenglassaugh Portsoy Single Malt Whisky
Glenglassaugh Portsoy has been matured in sherry, bourbon and port casks, over time the full bodied profile of Glenglassaugh Portsoy grows, harmoniously balanced with the rich coastal character of their peated spirit. Rich maritime waves infused with tropical fruit and sherried dark soy hit the nose, rolling into port with liquorice and sea kelp. This is full bodied with dark chocolate, fermented soy and charred mango with treacle and a crack of sea salt.
The Glenturret Triple Wood 2024 Release
Triple Wood is a continuation of Glenturret's history, part of the old range and reborn in the new. A thoughtful combination of European and American Sherry Oak casks alongside Bourbon barrels gives a light and subtle whisky showcasing the sweet, fruity style of their new make spirit – the starting point of the journey for all our single malts. The three cask types have carefully nurtured the spirit, adding a depth of character and a rich, golden colour. Aged in American and European sherry casks and bourbon barrels, sweet fruit and caramel flirt with sticky ginger cake and vanilla, maturing oak and light spices look on with interest from the sidelines.
