Gratien & Meyer Cremant de Loire Brut NV

Founded back in 1864, Gratien & Meyer are one of the leading producers of Cremant wines (traditional method sparkling) in the Loire region of France. These are produced in the same way as Champagne, but sell for much less, making them a great value alternative for celebrations and special occasions. The wines are a blend of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, which creates a floral and fruity style of fizz.

Turckheim Cremant d'Alsace Brut

Cave de Turckheim Crémant d'Alsace Brut is a traditional, elegant, and expressive sparkling wine from one of the world's most celebrated wine cooperatives, widely regarded as a benchmark for quality in Alsace and beyond. A blend of Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, made in the traditional method and matured on its lees for 12 to 18 months, well beyond the 9-month AOP minimum, this is a Crémant of real finesse, freshness, and depth. Vegan and vegetarian. An exceptional alternative to Champagne at a fraction of the price. Why You'll Love It Cave de Turckheim lies at the mouth of the Munster Valley in Alsace and is widely regarded as one of the best cooperatives in the world. Their Crémant is the perfect expression of why: traditional method, extended lees ageing, and a house style that prioritises elegance and expressiveness over volume. With less pressure than Champagne, the bubbles lend a lovely, soft texture to the wine, making it as pleasurable to drink as it is impressive to serve. Vineyard & Production A blend of Pinot Blanc (80%) and Pinot Gris (20%), made in the traditional method. AOP rules require a minimum of 9 months on the lees; this wine spends 12 to 18 months quietly maturing, building texture, complexity, and a beautifully rounded finish. Winemaker: Daniel Gerold. Cork closure. Tasting Notes Expressive and lively on the nose, with aromas of baked apples and fresh acidity. The palate is bright and rounded, with a soft, creamy mousse from the extended lees ageing and a delicious, lingering finish. Elegant, approachable, and thoroughly satisfying. Perfect Pairings An elegant aperitif and a versatile food wine. Excellent with grilled seafood, oysters, roast chicken, soft cheeses, and fruit pastry desserts. Also a brilliant celebration bottle for any occasion. Grape Variety Pinot Blanc 80%, Pinot Gris 20%
