Hendrick's Neptunia

Hendrick's Neptunia endeavours to encapsulate the splendour of the sea within a gin. Inspired by the Ayrshire coast, Master Distiller Lesley Gracie has meticulously infused this expression with an array of coastal botanicals, all while maintaining the signature notes of rose and cucumber that Hendrick's is renowned for. We believe this will craft some superb cocktails, perfect for enjoying while you dream of a stunning beach somewhere. Why not try a delightful Neptunia Fizz cocktail with the convenient recipe below? 50ml Hendrick's Neptunia 25ml Fresh lime juice 25ml Simple sugar syrup Soda water 3 slices of cucumber In a highball glass filled with cubed ice, combine all the ingredients. Stir gently, top up with a splash of soda water, and garnish with three thin rounds of cucumber (feel free to use four if you prefer, but three looks quite nice, in our opinion). The taste offers fresh gorse and earthy juniper, fragrant hints of rose, subtly savoury notes at intervals, followed by sweet citrus nuances on the finish.

Mayfield Gin

Mayfield Gin features a robust incorporation of Sussex Hops at the core of its botanical selection. Originally discovered growing wild in a Sussex hedgerow, the specific variety chosen was later nurtured and cultivated by hop farmer Andrew Hoad. Alongside these hops, the gin includes juniper, orange, lemon, coriander, orris, angelica, and liquorice. The label alludes to the tale of St. Dunstan seizing the Devil by the nose with a pair of tongs in Mayfield, causing the infernal figure to flee and soothe his injured nose in the waters of Tunbridge Wells, the home of MoM Towers. On the nose, there is an aroma of oily juniper, sesame, and floral hops complemented by a generous splash of citrus. The palate presents a peppery onset with juniper prominently at the forefront, supported by nuances of pine and cardamom, creating a savoury experience. Orange zest cuts through cleanly. The aftertaste reveals notes reminiscent of a forest floor and dried flower petals. The flavour profile of Mayfield Gin is thus.
