Henners Rose 2024
Henners is based in Herstmonceux, East Sussex, where the historic name Gardner Street captures the hand-harvested, artisanal craft of tending vines and wines down English country lanes. This English Rose Wine is a modern marriage of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier , blended from specially selected plots across Sussex, Kent and Essex, chosen for their ripeness and fruit profile. Why You'll Love It This is Dry Rose Wine at its most elegant. Henners' meticulous approach to vineyard selection and gentle winemaking produces a pale, beautifully textured rose that is packed with red fruit character and finished with a crisp, refreshing lift. Hand-harvested and crafted with real artisanal care, it is a genuine expression of English viticulture at its finest. Vineyard and Production. Fruit is harvested and pressed individually before cold maceration overnight to draw out colour and delicate fruit flavours. Cool fermentation in stainless steel preserves the wine's natural freshness and delivers a beautifully textured, delicate rose with a crisp, refreshing finish and abundant red fruit character. Tasting Notes. Pale salmon in colour with a bright nose of crunchy red fruit including wild strawberry, redcurrant and cranberry. On the palate there is a gentle zing of pomegranate, raspberry and strawberry, giving a great lift to the finish. Perfect Pairings. An excellent match for clam linguine, anything with prawns and beef carpaccio. Also well suited to light salads, grilled fish and summer sharing plates. Grape Varieties. Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier
Whispering Angel Cotes de Provence Rose 2025
'“The French word ‘Caves’ doesn’t literally mean caves, but usually refers to wine cellars – and this world famous rosé comes from one of the finest in the world…” Matthew Jukes. Chateau d’Esclans’ is located on an exceptional site, on elevated land near the Gorges de Pennafort, twenty kilometers northwest of the ancient Roman city of Frejus on the Mediterranean coast. The first traces of the chateau’s site date back to Gaullist times during which its location served as a lookout point to spot intruders coming by boat into the Gulf of Frejus. Now owned by Sacha Lichine, this Rosé is renowned as one of the most stylish, elegant roses the wine world has to offer. A must have in every fashionable watering hole in the Cote d'Azur, this is something to get out around your friends and enjoy!'
